Colonial Shutters are mounted at the sides of door or window openings. They are then closed in front of the opening to form the required wind and impact protection. Locking bars and flutter bars are provided as standard accessories and are required. The fold back Colonial shutter provides privacy, weather protection and security as well as hurricane protection. Without a backing panel you still have complete ventilation. With integral backing panels you can order the optional see thru punching-which allows light to pass through and gives limited visibility.
